Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Swimming Pool Service and Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining and servicing swimming pools, spas, and their surroundings to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and cleaning of swimming pools and spas, including vacuuming, skimming, and brushing pool walls and floors.
- Test water chemistry and adjust chemicals as needed to maintain optimal conditions.
- Identify, diagnose, and repair equipment issues, including pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting systems.
- Perform seasonal opening and closing services for pools.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of pool areas, deck furniture, and related facilities.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, chemical levels, and repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including educating clients on basic pool maintenance and answering any queries they might have.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in pool maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Occasional availability on Saturdays (4 to 6 times per year.)
